Kuan Yin + Isis oracle pulls

Today’s random pulls from my Kuan Yin Oracle & Isis Oracle, both by Alana Fairchild:

(L) Kuan Yin/Bamboo Moon card: This is all about Divine Timing. Sometimes you feel that “nothing” is happening in your life, your plans go awry, your best intentions fall flat. But listen: consider Divine Timing and the bamboo tree. It takes 5 years for its roots to ground so you see nothing much happening immediately after it is planted. But once it is its time to grow, the bamboo flourishes in great height and foliage in all its serene, majestic glory. When it is time, it will be time. Until then, be at peace, dear one.

(R) Isis/Serpent of Fire: Priestess of the Serpent Sisterhood card: This is all about awakening your Kundalini energy, or that raw, sexual/life-force energy from the base of your spine. Kundalini rises up to animate the rest of our bodymindspiritheart so that we can be creative and selfless in acting for the highest good of all. Let Isis help you harness this energy for your highest good. Om Mani Padme Hum.

Taken together, these 2 “random” card pulls today are saying simply this: The Divine Timing for raising your vibration/Kundalini energy is NOW. What are you waiting for?

She and He who have ears, let them hear. And act upon such promptings from the Universe.

You are blessed in order to be a blessing.

“The Awakened Living EXPO 2015: Feel the energy!” in this week’s issue of the MANILA MAIL (April 22-28, 2015; page A5)

Pilipinasblitz Forever
A column by Bles Carmona

For the week of April 22-28, 2015

I wouldn’t have been part of this year’s Awakened Living Expo last April 19 from 2-5 PM at Fort Mason if not for my fairy godmother, Leslie Yee-Murata, the Reiki-infused jewelry designer of Purple Fire Gems (https://www.etsy.com/people/PurpleFireGems). One day in mid-March, Ms. Leslie emailed me about a fund-raising campaign for their spiritual group, apparently called Awakened Living (www.awakenedlivingsf.org; 415-410-4800).

There was a call for holistic practitioners who were willing to share their talent and time for the Expo, and the slots were filling up. With Ms. Leslie’s patronage, I was able to secure a spot as one of the 18 featured holistic practitioners in this year’s Expo, now on its second year.
Ms. Leslie told me to come early because she has nice tablecloths for me to borrow, so I arrived an hour before the gates opened. I was greeted at the entrance to the hall by no other than the charming and hospitable Mr. TJ Woodward himself, the founder and minister of the Awakened Living spiritual community in San Francisco. He really made me feel welcome. He told me to pick any booth among the 18 which were in the process of being set up, and I gravitated to the third one on the right, backed up by sunlight streaming from a closed yet transparent window.

When Ms. Leslie finally arrived, she and I started to set up our tables like the other practitioners were doing. My table was arrayed with my white candle, blue Buddha, Archangels Michael and Barachiel, Isis, a Singapore merlion, a figurine of two dragons back-to-back with a bejeweled sword between them, and a reclining ram with a small impression of Osiris under its chin. My choice of table figurines aren’t really that strange since it only reflects my personal interfaith orientation when it comes to the topic of “religion.”

In fact, let me quote the following from their flyer: “Awakened Living is a 21st century movement of people who consider themselves spiritual, but not religious, and have a deep hunger for personal and global transformation. We are a diverse group of like-minded people dedicated to joyous celebration, spiritual practice and connected community. Our mission is to encourage and inspire the awakening of human consciousness.” Mr. TJ founded this group in 2012 and since November 2014, they have been meeting at the Fort Mason Chapel at the corner of Franklin and Bay Streets, SF from 11:00 AM-12:30 PM.
Aside from his ministerial duties, Mr. TJ is in private practice as a spiritual counselor and life coach. He is also the host of “Awakened Living TV” and “Awakened Living Radio.” Among his most recent accomplishments is the publication and Spring 2015 worldwide release of his book, “Conscious Being: Awakening to Your True Nature.”

One ticket holder during the Expo raffle was lucky enough to win a copy of this book, which Mr. TJ said he’d be glad to sign! During the raffle which was held in the middle hour of the Expo, there were other exciting prizes to be won like complete sessions of Reiki, chiropractic, and acupuncture, among others, given by the respective practitioners. The raffle was just the perfect touch at 3:30-3:45 PM – and then it’s back to our tables again.

Here are the 18 practitioners who were gracious enough to participate this year, all of whom I’m sure Mr. TJ thanked with the warmth in his heart. He hugged me in all sincerity as we were closing shop, and Mr. TJ went around the room expressing his gratitude to everyone involved. This list can also be found in the Awakened Living’s website under “expo”:

I had fun conducting my 15-minute mini-sessions with the six women who signed up for my tarot/fairy/angel card readings. It’s always a privilege for me when my clients open up enough to share crucial details of their lives whenever I interpret something in the cards that truly resonates with them. I would also like to mention Ms. Cara Cordoni of Flashlight Coaching who took the time to visit my booth just to shoot the breeze during a lull.

She actually went to the prestigious Coaches Training Institute for her coaching certification, and she has her own personal breakthrough story to share with you about how she gave her power away and how she got it back. With Ms. Cara’s Leo Sun and Moon, she IS indeed in her element as a coach, and with Scorpio rising, she is well qualified to bring what was previously in darkness from beneath into the light up above. The energy in that Expo was rejuvenating and exhilarating! Would I be back next year? If Awakened Living would have me again, yes!

“Just like startin’ over…” in this week’s issue of the MANILA MAIL (April 8-14, 2015; page A5)

Pilipinasblitz Forever
A column by Bles Carmona

For the week of Apr. 8-14, 2015

As part of this John Lennon song goes: “It’s time to spread our wings and fly/ Don’t let another day go by, my love/ It’ll be just like starting over.”

Now volumes have already been written about what John Lennon meant. Was this song his last paean to his eternal muse, Yoko Ono? People have said that this must be the gist of the song. They may have wanted to recapture a former vibrancy to their love. Still another view was that it wasn’t about John and Yoko at all – that it was actually John’s rediscovered love for music after he left the Beatles. Well, in a world where Libras like John Lennon were and still are free to imagine, let us craft another meaning into this idea of “starting over.”

In the Judeo-Christian tradition, we have the great Easter parable of Jesus Christ’s birth-death-and-resurrection. Another concept of starting over was the Deluge of Noah’s time, where everything on earth was cleared out prior to the seeding of new life via the Ark. In Japanese history we may talk of the Meiji Restoration of 1868 or the rising up from ruins of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Our home country, the Philippines, is a picture of starting over and over again after each onslaught of a typhoon or thunderstorm. The idea I’m building with these examples is that in each event of adversity, the strengths and good nature of the people involved truly emerged in outstanding ways to restore what was lost (the status quo) or even improve on the common ground.

You can say that what I’ve just been through this past Lenten season is my rapid-burst crash course in “starting over.” First of all, I almost did not make it to my 45th birthday last April 4. I literally dropped dead, stone-cold, jaw-achingly blue around the gills on Palm Sunday. And for what? Apparently it was a lethal mix of pneumonia and asthma. I went into a respiratory arrest while my family rallied, led by my youngest sister Edna who took care of updating my one big Facebook family (which means some of you who are reading this). According to my sister, she can only attend to one thing at a time, so when she wasn’t making decisions about my care with our family’s help, then she was updating my Facebook status by listening closely to what the doctors and nurses were reporting to her. I will be forever grateful to Edna for rallying what I call my “community of faithful prayer warriors.”

Here’s how I put on my FB Wall post a couple of days after I got home from Kaiser Permanente San Leandro:
“Mabuhay! This is Blesilda. Thank you very much to my family and friends who have been with praying with us during my scary health ordeal. I see obvious parallels between the Judeo-Christian death-and-resurrection parable and what I’ve been through – but lest you think of how presumptuous I am, please bear with me as I articulate how simply humbled and blessed I am, ever so grateful for my second chance at LIFE because of the power of GOD. I was at my lowest when I lost my breath. But it took a COMMUNITY of FAITHFUL PRAYER WARRIORS like each of you to bring me back because GOD LISTENS. Was it just another great coincidence that my birthday this year was on Black Saturday, the day before Easter? Many messages are intersecting in my mind and heart, but for now, what could be more apropros than: GOD IS RISEN INDEED! PRAISE BE TO GOD!”

You know, there are lessons to be learned from my experience on so many levels. I won’t force my own realizations on anyone, but let’s attempt to make sense of this “reset-button” type of experience into a bio-psycho-socio-spiritual framework. In the realm of body and mind, what happened to me was a wakeup call about taking even more care of my physiological and psychological health, since nothing can be taken for granted anymore, even a random community-acquired Pneumonia pathogen or even a possible coronavirus as suggested by my Manila Science High School batch mate Ms. Gigi De Jesus-Kidary who is now studying these illnesses at a Nurse Practitioner student in Florida. Sociologically, my health scare united sincere and faithful prayers from ALL OVER, I kid you not! My sister Cherry Santiago posted from Manila, “To my most beloved sister Blesilda. Today, you literally gave me a ‘heart attack’. It is a turning point in my life. You made me realize how valuable you really are to me. And no matter the distance, always remember we are one in spirit. I love you, Ate. You continue to be an inspiration and a stronghold to me. Fight! Fight! Fight!”

Gigi Kidary prays for me from Florida, Pereg Rina Pepito prays for me from Italy, Rei Laue prays for me from Zurich, literally hundreds of family and friends all over California, the USA, and the Philippines! Guys, if Facebook is here with us for life, then let’s utilize it for some spankin’ hot meaningful mass-movement! If this social medium can wrought miracles on behalf of one plain and simple person, then imagine what we could truly pray for, think about, and mobilize about – en masse!

Spiritually – oh! The last frontier and the trickiest of all. Here’s the bottom line if my Facebook family are right, and I know they are: I was brought back to life because something in my “life mission” is not done yet. Logically easy enough to make that leap, right? But as my friend Tres Roque posted in his prayer for me, “May you know what your mission is.” Coming for me through a time of a literal rebirth, I do sincerely hope that I may find that mission soon.

However, if my mission involves continuing to write for the Manila Mail for many weeks and months to come, giving me a platform from which I can contribute my views and research – to educate sometimes, but to entertain always – then I can say that FOR NOW, I am indeed fulfilling part of my life plan here on Earth. How blessed I am!

Another perspective was shared to me by my best friend and fiancé Lean Dela Rosa, when I asked him, “Puro na lang ba pagsubok?” (“Is it just going to be one trial after another?”) Lean replied, “Ganun talaga ang buhay, di nawawala ang pagsubok para patuloy tayong kumapit sa Kanya.” (“That’s the way life goes, trials will always be there so that we can continue to cling upon Him.”) Lean and his mother belong to the “Ang Dating Daan” Christian congregation.

I started with a fragment of a song. Now please help me end this column with a Latin song we used to chant in a former charismatic episcopal church to which I belonged. As translated by my brother-in-law Angelito T. (Jerry) Santiago, who is a Deacon of the Roman Catholic Church, the song goes:
Non nobis Domine, Domine, /Non nobis Domine. /Sed nomine, sed nomine, / Tuoda Gloriam!
“Not unto us but to God be all the glory!” Amen and Amen!

“HOW TO FIND YOUR SPIRIT ANIMAL” in this week’s issue of the MANILA MAIL (January 14-20, 2015, page A7) (Photo credits: www.fabricandart.com)

Pilipinasblitz Forever
A column by Bles Carmona
For the week of January 14-20, 2015

Have you ever wondered about the spiritual world of our Native American brethren? There are 562 federally recognized tribal governments in the United States (America.gov) – have you ever wondered what beliefs may be shared among them?

Since Native American religion is partly Earth-centered (especially before the arrival of Christianity), part of their cosmology is the belief in spirit animals. How do we find our spirit animal and how can we be open to what our spirit animal is teaching us?

At http://www.spiritanimal.info (site editor Elena Harris), you will find a plethora of information on spirit animals. For instance, there are many ways to find your spirit animal: through meditation, going in nature and observing, calling the animal, process of self-inquiry, writing about it in your journal, imagination, and journeying with sound. Animals are everywhere in our lives, whether as pets or as free agents, and yet we fail to grasp their symbolic nature. In effect, we miss what they’re trying to teach us and thus we miss the opportunity to improve our lives. In the world of spirit animals, they can symbolize: aspects of your personality, skills or traits that you have cultivated successfully or have yet to develop, a situation or an emotion that has recently arisen. Spirit animals can also offer guidance and intuitive understanding.

When we bond with an animal spirit guide, we are encouraged to: discover ourselves by getting a felt sense of our strengths and weaknesses, the skills we have developed, and our potential; loosen up our personality and habits and open up to transformation; open up to new perspectives on our relationship with nature and the Earth as a whole; feel the power of the animal and be inspired by its qualities; and call on the animal spirit to get support and guidance. For those with ears that listen, our spirit animals can provide guidance on: an aspect of yourself that is already strongly developed or needs to be explored more; a situation or environment in your everyday life that has a strong emotional impact; and a life direction you could consider or reflect on (www.spiritanimal.info). In the website, there are quizzes you can take to determine your animal totem, and I got “Bear,” which apparently stands for strength, confidence, taking action, healing, solitude, and grounding – among other meanings. Don’t worry, because when you get your result, the website will explain what your spirit animal means. There is another quiz for discovering your “inner animal,” and another one for finding out your “social animal.” For my inner animal, my result was that I was either an Owl or a Hummingbird, and for my social animal, I was either a Bear (again?!) or a Butterfly. I guess it may take a while for me to be equated with a less hefty spirit animal (grin). I’m not complaining, though. I like what my Bear is teaching me.

Now let’s compare the above system with these “Native American Zodiac Signs via Algonquin wisdom” written by Avia Venefica, a symbolist, metaphysician, part-Native American, and self-proclaimed heretic, always questioning, discovering, and learning. Avia maintains several websites, but this piece on “Native American Zodiac Signs” was retrieved from http://www.tokenrock.com. I suggest that you visit the website to view the complete descriptions.

Hawk (Mar 21-Apr 20)
You have expansive vision, and your ability to see beyond what common reality holds is extraordinary. As a visionary with an intrepid streak in tackling new adventures – people look to you as a natural leader. Part of your life lesson is knowing when others are plucking your feathers for their selfish gain. Spreading your wings and shining more radiantly is the solution. In this way, you uplift through example.

Moose (Apr 21-May 20)
You are a gentle giant among your tribe. Your heart has a massive capacity for love and provision, particularly concerning matters of home and family. You know your own power, but often elect to keep that power on reserve and in-check. Creature comforts, family, friends, sharing and tender moments of simplicity nurture your soul. All these heartwarming and endearing tendencies of yours vanish if you feel anything you value is threatened. If you perceive harm against your herd, you will strike with chilling vengeance. Part of your life lesson is to learn flexibility in your perception and to better discern which battles to pick and which to avoid.

Owl (May 21-Jun 21)
Your tribal kin have a hard time following you, in spite of your phenomenal ability to intelligently communicate your thoughts to them. It has to do with a higher level of knowing which is your set-point. Part of your life lesson is to utilize your ability to see people from all angles and have patience with those who have trouble keeping up with you in the skies you fly.

Sturgeon (June 22-July 22)
You have an incredible lineage for intuitive knowing (typically passed from your mother), and the waves of your intuitive perception are best expressed through artistic manifestations. Poetry, art, music are all effective tools for you to convey the world you see. This is why you are typically the storyteller of the tribe, because you reach deep within your emotional whirlpools to access incredible ancient knowing. Your lesson is to use your fluctuating moods and intensely sensitive/emotional nature work to your advantage as well as the advantage of the community.

Mountain Lion (July 23-Aug 22)
As a mountain dweller, you are fueled by the realms of the sun, and easily attain high levels of success. Your tribal kin would call you lucky because they observe things always working out for your best interest. You would say you are extremely skilled, highly observant, and you know how to strategize or work the system to your best advantage. This is true. Nevertheless, people look up to you upon your mountain and view you as the tribal hero/heroine. Part of your life lesson is to funnel your assertiveness as a means to guide and effectively lead without manipulating or crushing the vulnerable spirits of the souls placed in your charge.

Deer (Aug 23-Sep 23)
You are extraordinarily attuned to your environment – having a ‘sixth sense’ about how things should be, and instantaneously knowing when something is ‘out of place.’ Fortunately, you are incredibly deft at putting things back into order. The disparagement between classes often leaves you fleeing from mainstream society. Your lesson is to learn how to meet your clansmen on their level without stooping below your own.

Eagle (Sept 24-Oct 22)
You are the equalizer of your tribal community. You have an inherent ability to focus your awareness in two directions which gives you the gift of foresight and hindsight simultaneously. Your clansmen look to you to settle disputes and arguments because of your advanced skills at discernment. You also have an evolved sense of equality. Your life lessons will typically revolve around themes of balance. In fact, you may manifest this balance in staggering ways by balancing unconventional with conventional having a ‘public’ life and a ‘secret’ life.

Beaver (Oct 23-Nov 22)
You swim in rivers of vast potential and wonder where reality and dreams comingle with ease. When the outside world does not comply with your perception of what it should be – you simply construct worlds of your own unique design and live there quite contently. Tribal members will seek you to interpret their dreams because you are so familiar with the constructs of parallel worlds. Part of your life lesson is to be mindful other people in your reconstructive/transformative behaviors as the actions you take can sometimes cause emotional blockages for others.

Red Fox (Nov 23-Dec 21)
You incorporate a sense of play into the tribal community that is vital. Without your levity, and high energy your clansmen would be left deflated. When properly motivated, you have the ability to drive sharp intellect into the heart of grand philosophical concepts – piercing core issues with the gift of honed insight. Your lesson is to know your own limits and to recognize your potential through focus and self-grounding.

Black Bear (Dec 22-Jan 20)
You often find yourself in a position of tribal elder in your community because you represent a foundational cornerstone within the tribe. In reality, you have a unique ability to see several steps ahead and know how to incorporate practical measures to bring about solid results to any endeavor. You recognize the value of hard work in order to obtain a goal. More importantly, you have a quality of patience that is remarkable. Part of your life lesson is to recognize that even though your ways are proven reliable, they are not always they right ways for everyone (particularly the tribal youths).

Wolf (Jan 21-Feb 19)
You have a gift of specialized wisdom and even the skill of prophecy. You are infinitely generous to those within your clan and can be incredibly protective over your assets. But your sense of loyalty to the whole of your community is legendary. Your unique knowing and perspective leads you to contribute incredible insights, inventions and evolutionary ideas to the your community. Part of your life lesson is to develop communication skills that convey your ideas more clearly with a goal for communal acceptance.

Grey Whale (Feb 20-Mar 20)
You will likely find yourself living on the outskirts of the tribe – not because you do not wish for fellowship, but because living in isolation affords you the luxury of gathering your internal resources for the great spiritual work you are called to do, usually in the form of healing. The members of your clan will seek you out as their tribal healer. Even those outside of your tribe will travel great distances to receive insight, cleansing, and healing from you. Your life lessons revolve around keeping your individuality while serving the community. Also, you must learn to respect your unique needs for self-nurturing, relaxation and seclusion when you need it.
I hope you have fun discovering your spirit animal and through your meditative explorations, be open to what your animal, in its wisdom, says about one or more of these things: 1. An aspect of yourself that you either need to develop more or is already over-emphasized, 2. A situation in your life right now that is having a strong emotional impact on you, or 3. A life direction you are being urged to consider or reflect upon.

Whether your spirit animal dwells over the land, above in the sky, or in the depths of the sea, there is no need to hunt it down, for lo! It is already right there resting beneath your feet. Ask for its wisdom and wisdom you shall receive.

“HOW TO LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE THIS NEW YEAR: 2015 VERSION” in this week’s issue of the MANILA MAIL (Dec. 31, 2014-January 6, 2015, page A7)

Pilipinasblitz Forever
A column by Bles Carmona

For the week of Dec. 31, 2014-January 6, 2015

Happy New Year to all of us! Isang Maligaya at Masaganang Bagong Taon po sa inyo! Blessings and light!

Please allow me to share a listicle – by now you know what a listicle is, right? – that I wrote for the online how-to website called eHow.com way back in 2007. I actually based my article on something that I read in the Science of Mind Magazine (www.scienceofmind.org) around that time. When we talk about a New Year-themed article, it may come to assume an element of timelessness since a new year will always be coming and going. Therefore, with some minor tweaks here and there, here’s how to let your light shine this New Year, the 2015 iteration!

The New Year is upon us and it calls upon us to renew ourselves. Come New Year’s Day, with the fireworks and pretty lights sparkling all around you, why don’t you let your inner light glow, too? Should you be struggling to balance yourself on solid ground at this time of the year, here are eight things to help you regain your footing and let your light shine forth!

1. Your situation is temporary. Know that if you don’t like where you are now, then it’s just a place you were meant to go through.

2. Giving thanks is important. Give thanks. Light expands with gratitude. Giving thanks draws positive energy and light into your life, pushing out the darkness and replacing it with power to manifest your dreams and heighten your awareness of life.

3. Make room for positive thoughts. Give the light your hurtful memories, including any victimhood weighing you down. Since light is magnetic, it pulls everything you give it out of the darkness and towards itself. As these negative thoughts dissolve, watch as space is cleared in your mind for more positive thoughts to now occupy, since nature abhors a vacuum. See those positive thoughts take root and grow!

4. Be an encourager. Offer encouragement to others. Your consciousness of the light inside you not only sensitizes you to your own need for encouragement but also makes you aware that others need support, too. Ask yourself, “Who needs a helping hand today?” The Talmud Baba Batra states: “One who gives a coin to a poor person is rewarded with six blessings, but one who encourages that person with words is rewarded with seven blessings.”

5. Forgiveness is powerful. Forgive someone this New Year. The late Nelson Mandela, when asked why he forgave his jailers in Robben Island who kept him prisoner for 27 years, said, “When I walked out of the gate, I know that if I continued to hate these people, I’d still be in prison.” Furthermore, forgive yourself above all.

6. Nurture yourself. Self-care honors the self and sparks illumination. How are you holding yourself in right regard this season? Are you resting enough, laughing enough, smiling at yourself enough? When we give ourselves the gift of care, we can then and only then fulfill our higher purpose here on earth.

7. See beyond appearances. Watch your steps daily and always try to see the great Light in everyone else.

8. Cultivate your Inner Light. Your New Year’s gift to yourself must be to intentionally affirm that it is the Universal Light in you that magnifies the greatest possibilities. As you do, you will function from faith and act from consciousness.

Know that you are the outlet of the Universe’s protection, provision, and power. The powers of peace, truth, and love are within you! This New Year, let the splendor of your light shine forth and light the path before you!

So what’s in store for all of us in 2015? Some financial astrologers are painting a dire picture of the collapse of the dollar, the rise of virtual currencies like Bitcoin, and the re-emergence of gold as the means of economic exchange. Some metaphysical readers, able to tap into the fifth dimension and the Akashic records, say that 2015 is a year of success, definitely much better than 2014 had been. If you ask the victims of Yolanda/Haiyan from two years ago, they may tell you that it’s just more of the same: government inefficiency, lack of livelihood, the basic lack of shelter and food. So you say to yourself: “The forecast for 2015 really depends on who I ask.”

If we were to ask from various sources, then why don’t we try asking for guidance from Tarot cards, the fairies, and the angels? But first, let’s get something from the Devotional Study Bible (NIV) to start things off. Revelation 21:5 states: ‘He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!”’ What a wonderful promise from God, and we don’t even have to wait for the Apocalypse to claim it for our lives and our planet right now.

Now let me draw three cards at random from my Rider-Waite Tarot deck. I picked the Queen of Wands, Two of Cups, and The Chariot. The year 2015 may very well be the year of women (i.e., Queen) with big ideas (Wands=Air=the realm of thoughts) and they will have enough power to implement their projects intended to restore nurture and peace the world over. The Two of Cups denotes a partnership between the masculine and feminine forces within each of us and among groups of people. Thinking laterally, spotting patterns and trends, and interpersonal intelligence will be highly valued. The Chariot is about leaning towards a more conservative direction. It’s the Cancerian card, the focus of which will be the home and family. There is a possibility that old-fashioned family values will clash with avant-garde thinking about the nature of relationships, but it is equally possible that these contrasting values will harmonize. Now here’s an oracle from the Fairies who guard Nature: “Feeling Safe – Any feelings of danger or vulnerability are healing, and they’re replaced with the certain knowledge that you are safe and protected right now.” Affirm this: I am safe. I am secure. I am completely protected at all times. Finally, here’s an oracle from the Angels: “Divine Timing – Pay attention to doors that are opening and shutting for you right now. Walk through doors that open, and learn from the doors that shut.” (Source: Doreen Virtue, Ph.D.’s Healing with the Fairies and the Angels Oracle Cards)

With all these food for thought, I take my leave now and allow you to gather your own faculties and to ask for strength for another year ahead. Remember, let your light shine forth this 2015! Happy New Year!
